Can I be forgiven?

Forgiveness is not a clean streak.

The Bible’s offer rests on what God has done, not on how long you have gone without failing. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins” (1 John 1:9). “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103:12).

In Jesus’ story of the lost son (Luke 15), the father runs before the son finishes his speech.

You do not have to explain it all
