How do I pray?
One honest sentence is enough.
Prayer is talking to God, not performing. Jesus warns against piling up words (Matthew 6:7–8). You can be honest, angry, confused or wordless.
- “God, if you’re there, I want to know you.”
- “I’m tired. Help.”
- “Thank you for today.”
The Psalms are a good place to borrow words. Psalm 23 is short.
Leave a private request
If you would like it written down somewhere, you can leave a private prayer request. It is not published, sold or shared. If it saves, you can download a card for the day. The card is made for you with one daily line. It is not a copy of your request, and nothing is uploaded.
If you might hurt yourself
If you might hurt yourself, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number now. This guide is not a crisis line, and nobody here reads requests in real time.
